Class Size and Information:

• This is a 4 week reading enrichment

• 1:6 teacher to student ratio

• Lessons are CHRISTIAN BASED- I will start each lesson with prayer and will share a bible verse of the week

• SESSIONS ARE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS! I WILL TEACH A TOTAL OF 18 STUDENTS FOR EACH SESSION

• Families can ONLY have their child participate in one session

• Students will be in leveled reading groups of 6 students (group of students who are at or close to their reading level)

• Reading Group Times: 8:00am-9:00am, 9:30-10:30, and 11:00-12:00 (this will be dependent on your child's reading leveled group)

• Families need to be committed to a schedule of 8:00am-12:00pm Monday through Wednesday

Who is this for?

• Those children who just finished kindergarten ( Entering 1st grade in 2022-2023) and who need more reading support (child did not make a lot of reading progress throughout the year)

• Those children who finished 1st grade (Entering 2nd grade in 2022-2023) and who are behind in reading

• Those children who finished 2nd grade (Entering 3nd grade in 2022-2023) and who are behind in reading (reading at a K or 1st grade level

• All lessons begin with prayer and praise to the Lord

• Lessons are Christ centered

• Lessons are small groups of no more than 6 kids

• Age range (at this time) is: K-2nd grade and Special Education

• Lessons range from: 45 -60 minutes

• Families receive 1 weekly lesson for the month (please be aware that this could change)

• Lessons are on both Monday and Wednesday

• Hours (Hours are pacific standard time) : 9:00- 10:00 am, 11:00-12:00 pm, and 1:00-2:00pm

How does this work?

1. Choose a time slot

2. Send me an email with: Your name, your child's name, a contact number (optional), and a time slot that works best for you

3. I will return your email with a zoom link

4. Your child will have a lesson on Monday and Wednesday (same time slot for both days) for that week

5. If you have questions please email me or if you prefer to talk via phone leave your name and phone number on your email with a statement saying prefer to talk over the phone (so I know you would like me to call you)

6. What does the lessons consist of?

Mondays- Greeting and welcoming time (Share our names and where we are from, etc. ), verse of the week, teacher read aloud, discussion of read aloud and reflection of how Jesus would see it, and writing.

Wednesdays- Read bible verse together and reflect on the read aloud from Monday, do a direct draw (of a picture pertaining to the read aloud), and write the bible verse of the week on the drawing.

*** If time permits, I will teach some rhyming and phonics skills on these days as well.

What is deliverance?

Deliverance is to be SET FREE IN JESUS' NAME from oppression caused by the enemy.

Jesus says in John 10:10, " The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." Jesus desires for us to have a life of fullness and peace.

Who is this for?

• The person who has made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.

• The person who has not made Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior, but desires to do so. I can lead you in a prayer at the beginning of our session, if you desire this.

• The believer who, despite prayer and calling on the Lord, is still unable to break free from depression, anxiety, addictions, etc.

Areas we can give access to the enemy and as a result suffer from oppression and bondage are through the following:

Generational curses (generational negative patterns) , anger, bitterness, unforgiveness, self-hatred, eating disorder, addictions, control, violence, suicidal thoughts, condemnation, guilt, rejection, abandonment, jealousy, rebellion, depression, control, worry, anxiety, isolation, hopelessness, low self-esteem, drunkenness, drug use, depression, perversion, lust, adultery, fornication, masturbation, rape, abuse, abortion, shame, pornography, molestation, sorcery, witchcraft, manipulation, Ouija boards, palm reading, astrology, tarot cards, and false religion.

Jesus says in Luke 10: 19, " I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you."

Jesus says in John 14:12, "Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do greater things than these, because I am going to the Father."
